Battery-grade CMC at CIBF 2026 in Shenzhen
At the 18th China International Battery Fair (13–15 May 2026), Sentai showed battery-grade CMC for power, storage and consumer cells, together with instant CMC, PAC and CMS, at booth 4B013.
The 18th China International Battery Fair (CIBF 2026) opened on 13 May 2026 at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center. Sentai exhibited at booth 4B013 with its battery-grade CMC as the lead product.
On the stand
- Battery-grade CMC (ST-series) for anode slurries in power, energy-storage and consumer batteries.
- Instant CMC, which disperses without lumps for faster slurry preparation.
- PAC and CMS from Sentai's wider cellulose and starch-ether range.
Sentai's report from the fair notes interest from anode-material producers looking for a domestic alternative to imported CMC, and from overseas visitors asking about PAC. The company produces 10,000 t/yr of CMC and PAC and 5,000 t/yr of CMS, and has worked with cellulose ethers for more than 20 years.
Battery customers can request ST-series samples and a side-by-side comparison against the CMC they use today.
