Three documents, three jobs

  • TDS

    Technical data sheet

The specification of one grade: viscosity, degree of substitution, purity, pH, moisture and other limits, with their test methods and application notes. Every grade has a printable specification sheet on this site; the full TDS with customer-specific limits and typical values is in the customer portal.

  • SDS

    Safety data sheet

How to handle, store, transport and dispose of a grade safely, in 16 sections. Supplied with shipments and on request, and available to customers in the portal.

  • COA

    Certificate of analysis

The test results of one production lot against the grade's specification. Issued for every lot, with the lot number printed on the bags, and kept in the portal for every lot delivered to you.

FAQ

Where can I get the SDS for sodium CMC?+

Request it through the contact form or from cmc@xtsentai.com, naming the grade. Customers download SDS, TDS and certificates of analysis in the Sentai customer portal.

What is the difference between a TDS and a COA?+

A TDS gives the specification of a grade: the limits every lot must meet and the test methods. A COA gives the measured results of one production lot against those limits.

Are the specification sheets on this site the TDS?+

They list each grade's published limits and test conditions and can be printed or saved as a PDF. The full TDS adds customer-specific limits and typical values and is in the customer portal.

Which standards are Sentai's grades tested to?+

Food grades to GB 1886.232-2016 and drilling grades to GB/T 5005. Viscosity is measured with a Brookfield viscometer at 25 °C, as a 1 % or 2 % solution on a dry basis.
